Glen R. Whitehead

Glen R. Whitehead is a Partner at Sullivan Whitehead & DeLuca LLP, where his practice concentrates in general civil litigation including premises liability, automobile negligence, fire loss, environmental, products liability, workers’ compensation, and employment law. Prior to the formation of the firm, Mr. Whitehead worked as a senior associate attorney for a large insurance defense firm, Morrison Mahoney LLP. Prior to that, he worked as an associate for a medium-sized general practice firm, Revens, Revens & St. Pierre in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Mr. Whitehead is admitted in the State of Rhode Island, the State of Connecticut, the State of New York, as well as the District of Connecticut, and the District of Rhode Island.

Mr. Whitehead is a graduate of Salve Regina University (B.A., cum laude, 1993) and Quinnipiac College School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1998). During law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Law Review for the 1997-98 academic year. He is the author of Casenote: BMW of North America v. Gore: Is the Supreme Court Initiating Judicial Tort Reform?, 16 Quinnipiac L. Rev. 533 (1997). He also received Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards in the following classes: Legal Skills I 1995, Legal Skills II 1996, Family Law 1997, as well as the Kristen Ann Carveth Memorial Book Award: Family Law 1998. Upon graduation, Mr. Whitehead was recognized with the following awards: the Dean’s Award, Outstanding Legal Scholarship, Superior Classroom Performance, and Service to the Law School. Following graduation from law school, he served as a lead law clerk for the Connecticut Superior Court, and later as a law clerk to Judge Paul M. Foti of the Connecticut Appellate Court.

Mr. Whitehead’s clerkships, coupled with his large and medium-sized firm experience have provided him with a diverse array of experience to handle legal matters from pre-suit through trial, and appeal.
